Letter Of No Objection (LONO)

No separate import or export authorisations are required under the royal decree dated 12 April 1974.

Foreign authorities can request an official document from the license holder to prove that they may import products that fall under the R.D. dated 12 April 1974 or similar foreign regulations. In such a case, a LONO can be requested from the FAMHP.

Application

A LONO can be requested by a responsible person listed on the licence via e-mail to substances_HAA@fagg-afmps.be listing the following:

  • the relevant substance/product;
  • the quantity;
  • the license number (if applicable);
  • the invoicing address.

Validity

A LONO for a product for which there is no licence required within the framework of the R.D. dated 12 April 1974 is valid for a maximum of 3 years.

A LONO for a product for which an authorisation under the R.D. dated 12 April 1974 is valid until the end date of this licence.

A LONO can be used for various imports until the expiration date.

Retribution

Every LONO delivered is subject to a fee. This can be consulted on this page and is indexed annually.

This amount will be invoiced when the LONO is delivered. This is the reason that we ask you to fill the invoicing address on the application form.
